Hockey competition – 3rd place!

On Tuesday Mr. Judd took a team of Y4/5 children to a hockey tournament at Richmond School. The weather was against the group and after an hours training on the astroturf for the first time they were all pretty wet!

Nevertheless the children went on to play well as a team and had an ending scoresheet of W1, D1, L2, giving a total of 10 points. This was enough to land the team in 3rd place which was an excellent achievement for such a short time training. There was a stand out performance from James Coyle who was the team’s top scorer.
