This week, James’s Jellyfish and preschool have all been singing The Beatles song Yellow Submarine as part of a spread the happiness challenge. On Monday afternoon, we came together and painted lots of boxes yellow ready to build a submarine on Tuesday. The children from both reception and preschool worked very well as a team to paint all of the boxes. Some children decided to make a band of their own using instruments and singing ‘we all live in a yellow submarine’. Once the boxes had dried, we built the submarine and pretended to look out to sea. We also performed our own yellow submarine song and were lucky enough to have a small audience from the tea room.
Rosie loved this activity! She’s been singing the song all week!
