This week, year 1 have been looking at how to write instructions. We started the week with a very funny lesson where the children gave the ‘Sandwich Bot’ (Miss Bartle) instructions on how to make a jam sandwich. The children learnt that they needed to keep their instructions precise and in order, to make sure the ‘Sandwich Bot’ could understand.
We then went on to look at the ‘bossiness’ of instructions and found this YouTube video very useful when remembering our imperative verbs / bossy verbs.
Year 1 have worked really hard this week. Well done bears!
