Last week saw the introduction of Y6 Sports Leaders in School. This is a group of volunteers who plan and implement sports activities at lunch time for younger children.
Their planning considers who to play with, where to play as well as what to play. Safety, resources and communication are also key features to be recorded in their journals. The pupils will work towards receiving bronze, silver and gold awards.
Each day of the week there is a different team of Sports Leaders, identified by their striking new red tabards and caps. Here are Ellie and Emily with their participants.
