Mrs. Hollis yet again organised an extremely successful book fair at Middleton Tyas last week. Children were all given time to look and explore a wide range of age relevant books and stationary items. It was great to see children of all ages enthused to buy and read books.
A special thanks to the BINC team and additional staff who also helped run the fair.
Also a big well done to Oliver and Nathan in KS2 who won the raffle and got to select a book each for free!

Many thanks to all those who visited the book fair last week. It was a great success and the children were clearly very excited all week. The total sales came to £1273.40, of which we get to use 60% to buy new books for school. Last year we used the proceeds to mainly top up our guided reading boxes. This year we are planning to buy books to be kept in the classrooms.
